Despite the fact that this eight-story mega mall is always busy, Cloud Nine never seems too crowded, thanks largely to its massive size.
Home to a myriad of Western brands including H&M, Adidas and Lee, if the shopping on the above-ground floors isn’t satisfactory, head to the basement levels to find Carrefour and electronic megastore Yolo.
Helpfully, each level (there are over eight of them) is largely organised around a particular shopping need or category, so there's one floor for fashion and beauty (level three), another for sports and outdoors wear (level five), and yet another for kids and family (level six), which comes packed with vast toy shops such as Lego and Toys R Us, as well as a children's soft play area and amusement arcade Tom's World. Packed with shoot-em-ups, dance mats and penny arcades, it is, frankly, just as much fun for the adults as it is for the kids, and makes a perfect rainy day activity.
Food options range from standard American fast food (such as KFC, McDonald’s and Starbucks) to a variety of sit-down restaurants on the seventh and eighth floors, including BAAK Thai and The Soup Expert, and South Memory. In the basement, you’ll find an outpost of the much-loved Yang’s Fried Dumplings.
